The month of June has a large number of exciting series restarts in store. The highlights on Netflix, Sky, Disney+ and Co.
In June, the popular “Sex and the City” sequel “And Just Like That…” returns with season two and a well-known newcomer to Sky and its streaming service Wow: The character Samantha celebrates her comeback and with her actress Kim Cattrall ( 66). Disney + meanwhile starts with “Secret Invasion” again after a long time – and offers a reunion with the Avengers founder Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson (74). “The Idol”: From June 5 on Sky and Wow

“Kohlrabenschwarz”: From June 8th on Paramount+
The German series production “Kohlrabenschwarz” starts on June 8th on the still quite new streaming service Paramount+ with “Switch Reloaded” star Michael Kessler (55), Bettina Lamprecht (“Pastewka”, 45) and Bettina Zimmermann (48) in the leading roles. The horror mystery series offers a mixture of crime and dark German fairy tales, which the trailer also talks about.

“The Crowded Room”: From June 9th on Apple TV+
The psychological thriller and crime series “The Crowded Room” brings a reunion with Spider-Man actor Tom Holland (27), known from the Marvel films. The 27-year-old plays Danny Sullivan, a man accused of involvement in a shooting in New York in 1979. “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”: Season two from June 15 on Paramount +
The currently most popular “Star Trek” series “Strange New Worlds” returns on June 15 with the second season on the streaming service Paramount +. Ten new episodes follow the adventures of the Starship Enterprise before James T. Kirk (played here by Paul Wesley, 40) takes over. “Hijack”: Coming to Apple TV+ on June 28th

“The Witcher”: First part of season three on June 29 on Netflix
All fans of the previous “The Witcher” actor Henry Cavill (40) must be very strong now. “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” with John Krasinski (43) as the title character returns to Amazon Prime Video on June 30 with the fourth and unfortunately final season. Following the events of the previous issue, Jack Ryan has risen through the ranks at the CIA and investigates internal corruption, uncovering a drug cartel merging with a terrorist organization.
