“And just like that”: And just like that, Miranda, Carrie and Charlotte are back

Fans have been waiting for this for a long time: With “And just like that” there is a sequel to the successful series “Sex and the City”, which was discontinued in 2004 after six seasons. The new series follows on from what is happening almost exactly 17 years later. The leading actresses Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York are in their 50s, still live in New York and meet in trendy restaurants to discuss their problems. But it’s no longer just about sex and relationships, it’s also about gray hair, hearing aids and politically correct views.

The fourth member, PR agent Samantha Jones, is missing in the new edition. The series will find an answer to why it is not there in the first episode. There is also a reunion with many men from “Sex and the City”: Miranda’s bartender Steve Brady, Charlotte’s husband Harry Goldenblatt, Carrie’s best friend Stanford Blatch and husband Anthony Marentino. And of course John James Preston alias Mr. Big – Carrie’s great love – for whom a dramatic fate awaits.

“And just like that” is now on Sky accessible
