The Interdepartmental Roads Directorate has issued several alert messages to warn users of the danger. An 83-year-old motorist inadvertently took the Toulouse ring road in the opposite direction, this Sunday morning, revealed The Midi Dispatch.
The octogenarian, who was driving with a flat tire, was finally able to be intercepted by the police from the anti-crime brigade at the Rangueil interchange, south of Toulouse. He caused no injuries.
The individual was taken to the police station where he was picked up by his family. His license and vehicle were confiscated.
