A preliminary investigation was opened for “attempted assassinations in connection with a terrorist enterprise”, after “the explosion which affected the vehicle occupied by a crew of five French”, on the Dakar 2022, in Saudi Arabia, a announced the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (PNAT) on Tuesday.
The investigations into this explosion on December 30 in Jeddah, which “seriously injured the driver of the car”, are entrusted to the Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI), said the Pnat in a statement.
