An individual took refuge alone this Thursday morning in a garden center in the town of Sénas, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. The man threatens to blow up the building, specifies the Bouches-du-Rhône police headquarters.
A security perimeter was set up, which required the evacuation of around fifty people. The A7 motorway, next to the garden center, has been cut in both directions near Sénas. Deminers, gendarmes and the gendarmerie protection specialist platoon are on site. The GIGN is on its way. The authorities are asking to avoid the area and limit its movements to what is strictly necessary in the town.
