A fireball that crosses the sky. The few onlookers who braved the curfew witnessed an impressive phenomenon this Saturday evening in the south of France. According to information from Provence, a meteorite was observed between Nice and Lyon, passing through Marseille.

This spectacular event remains nonetheless common at this time of year, according to our colleagues from the regional daily. Quoting a statement from NASA, Provence indicates that these meteor showers even have a name, the April Lyrids, visible every year between April 16 and 25.
