An exhibition in the Cohaus Monastery Schlehdorf on Kochelsee – Bavaria

Franz Marc even came to Kochel for the first time shortly before the Dominican Missionary Sisters. In 1901 he spent a summer painting on the Staffelalm. A year later, in the neighboring town of Schlehdorf, the nuns acquired the monastery complex, which was visible from afar and was once founded by the Augustinian canons. Now Marc’s drawings are being exhibited there for the first time, but the monastery is no longer a monastery.
