“Looked like the bad witch”: Amy Schumer reverses the beauty procedure

Because she was dissatisfied with a beauty treatment, actress Amy Schumer unceremoniously reversed the procedure – and shared her experience on Instagram.
The US actress Amy Schumer spoke on Instagram about her experience with so-called “fillers”. The injections for wrinkle reduction – mostly with hyaluronic acid – are particularly popular with celebrities. However, Schumer was not at all satisfied with her anti-wrinkle treatment, as she announced.
“I tried wrinkle fillers. It turned out that I was already well filled. Thank goodness you can dissolve them again – I looked like the wicked witch from Snow White”, wrote Schumer on Instagram and posted a snapshot from the dermatologist’s office. On it she can be seen without make-up with white cream on her cheeks.

She also linked the dermatologist who helped her undo the cosmetic surgery. She also commented on the treatment: “Skin fillers can be a wonderful thing to restore lost volume and tone the face, but the placement of the injections is extremely important!” Wrote Jodi LoGerfo. Schumer got the filler elsewhere and came to her with a request to dissolve it. “Dissolving filler is a very simple and quick procedure,” she says.
Schumer’s post drew hundreds of comments, many praising the comedian for her openness. In between the positive voices, there were also many critical comments warning of the interventions. Others said: “Just do what makes you happy!” Among other things, her colleague Isla Fisher commented: “You are beautiful, you don’t need fillers!” Schumer himself commented on the statement of a fan that she shouldn’t submit to Hollywood’s beauty standards with: “It’s crazy how quickly I let myself be persuaded to do so.”
Something about this year made her do it. Last year, the 40-year-old spoke openly about an operation; in the summer she had her uterus and appendix removed due to an endiometriosis disease. Schumer has a two year old son.
