Interior Senator Andy Grote did not want to talk about omissions at the beginning of the press conference. He opened it by thanking the police and firefighters who saved many lives last Thursday evening. Grote also thanked German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser, who visited the crime scene shortly after the killing spree. But what was then announced in the press conference raised many questions.

Current status of the investigation

Five days ago, gunman Philipp F. shot dead seven people in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Six injured are in the hospital. One person is still in critical mortal danger.
