For many experts, the San Francisco 49ers are more than just a secret favorite for the Super Bowl. The third win in the third game of the season provides further arguments for the strong team.

The San Francisco 49ers cemented their playoff ambitions this NFL season with a comfortable win against the New York Giants. Led by quarterback Brock Purdy, the 49ers won 30:12 and thus their third win in the third game of the season.

It was even the 13th main round win in a row across the season. No other team in the National Football League can keep up. It was the second loss of the season for the Giants, who had to play without star running back Saquon Barkley, who had an ankle injury. As with the 0:40 loss against the Dallas Cowboys at the start, the team around quarterback Daniel Jones had no chance.

“We have a lot of experience on offense and everyone has done their job,” Purdy said on Amazon Prime. The young quarterback, who was only number three for the 49ers last season and only made his NFL debut because of injuries to his colleagues, had a somewhat slow start but was still in control of the game at all times. He finished the night with 310 passing yards and two touchdown passes.

In addition to running back Christian McCaffrey, who had a touchdown, pass receiver Deebo Samuel also had a very good evening. He had a strong 129 yards on six caught balls and scored a touchdown.

“For the third time in a row they scored 30 points in different ways,” ex-quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick analyzed as an expert on Amazon Prime and said with a view to the Philadelphia Eagles, who have also been playing well so far: “I currently like San Francisco more than Philadelphia at this point in time.”
