Tesla boss Elon Musk’s name keeps popping up in the court cases of former couple Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. It was even said in the Virginia courtroom that Depp is said to be obsessed with Musk.
Elon Musk has already been the subject of a defamation case involving the ex-couple Heard and Depp, and now the name is appearing again. Johnny Depp alleges he and his ex-wife had an affair. The CEO of the global corporation Tesla is even supposed to testify himself in the current process.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are suing each other for defamation. The process has been going on for a week. When a lawyer for his ex came up with the name Elon Musk, Depp grinned in the courtroom. The eleven jury members could also see this. Attorney Elaine Bredehoft also accuses the actor of being “obsessed” with Musk. The billionaire tech entrepreneur has been listed by Amber Heard as possible witnesses for the trial along with Spider-Man actors James Franco, Paul Bettany and Ellin Barkin.
Musk’s name was mentioned before during a 2020 defamation lawsuit between Heard and Depp. At the time, the actor’s attorney claimed Heard had an affair with Elon Musk. Now his name comes up again when Bredehoft explained her client’s charitable donations as part of her divorce settlement. Johnny Depp’s lawyers accused her of failing to do so. Amber Heard’s attorney also explained that Musk and Heard had been in contact, but it was related to charitable donations.
Elon Musk denies affair rumors within the Heard-Depp marriage
Elon Musk had already denied allegations that he had an affair with Amber Heard within the couple’s marriage to the tabloid portal “Page Six” in 2020. At the time, he was rumored to have had a threesome in 2016 with Heard and model Cara Delevingne. Elon Musk said at the time: “Cara and I are friends but we’ve never been intimate. She would confirm this. Also, I want to reiterate that Amber and I only started dating about a month after she filed for divorce. I don’t think so I was anywhere near Amber during their marriage!”
