On the second day of her testimony, Amber Heard revealed more verbal and physical abuse she claims she experienced during her marriage to Johnny Depp. The 58-year-old is said to have lost control, especially when he was on drugs and alcohol.

In the defamation trial between actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, the 36-year-old reported further alleged verbal abuse, beatings and violence in the relationship on the second day on the witness stand. In 2014, he attacked her on a plane under the influence of drugs when she wanted to change seats during an argument: “I feel this boot on my back. It just kicked me in the back. I fell on the ground,” said Heard, who answered questions from her lawyer for several hours on Thursday and kept fighting back tears. Heard’s legal team showed photos of the actress, for example with a bruise on her upper arm.

Speaking of another incident, she said: “He (Depp) just kept hitting me. I thought, ‘This is how I’m going to die. He’s going to kill me now. He’s going to kill me and he didn’t even know it.’ Heard reported that the 58-year-old was often violent, especially when he was intoxicated with alcohol and drugs. Sexual violence also occurred, including in Australia in March 2015, she said. They penetrated Johnny Depp with a liquor bottle. Depp, on the other hand, claims Heard threw the bottle at him and he lost part of his fingertip as a result.

Amber Heard describes Johnny Depp as extremely jealous

Heard also described several verbal attacks in which Depp allegedly threatened that he could kill her. He called her a “whore” and accused her for no reason that she was cheating on him. He told her he hated her and that she ruined his life. The 36-year-old described the Hollywood star as extremely jealous and controlling. “Johnny wanted me to stop doing sex scenes, for kisses to be taken out of the script, for me not to look too sexy. It just got worse! I kept turning down more and more scripts, eventually just taking on conservative roles,” she said.

In his four-day testimony on the stand in the Fairfax County Court, Virginia, Depp denied under oath that he ever struck Heard. Instead, he accused his ex-wife of a “need for violence.”

Amber Heard is to be questioned for several days, including under cross-examination by Depp’s lawyers. However, the trial was initially adjourned until May 16 due to other appointments by the judge.
