Amber Heard is being threatened by radical Depp fans so massively that she had to hire an elite security company to keep her safe.
Amber Heard (36) fears attacks from fans of her ex-husband Johnny Depp (58). Fearing an escalation, she is said to have hired an elite security firm to protect her during the trial, reports the New York Post.
The high-profile company, which employs former military professionals, is said to have stationed staff on the grounds of the Virginia courthouse. These should “watch out for individual perpetrators who want to gain access to the court in Fairfax, vehicles or the entrance to the building,” it says. According to a source, Heard pays at least $120 an hour per person. It is not known how many of the undercover guards are deployed.

Since the hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp has been trending on Twitter after Depp’s cross-examination, Heard and her legal team have received massive threats online – including specific death threats. Videos and images obtained by the security firm are said to show spectators at the trial “chasing” Heard and her team as they drove home from the courthouse.
Depp alleges in court that Heard defamed him when she described herself as a victim of domestic violence in a 2018 op-ed piece for The Washington Post.
