Zoe Wees covers “All I want (for Christmas)”

Musician Zoe Wees has recently got off to a good start – not only in Germany. Now she is following in the footsteps of Sarah Connor and Vanessa Mai and covering a Christmas song for Amazon Music.
The young Hamburg musician Zoe Wees (20, “Control”) will be the face of this year’s Amazon Christmas campaign. In that context, the globally successful singer has covered Liam Payne’s emotional Christmas song “All I Want (For Christmas)”, Amazon Music announced on Thursday. The song and the music video are already available on the streaming service.
“I always think Christmas is cuddly and I like the festival,” said Wees of the German Press Agency in Hamburg. With the song she chose, she also wanted to think of those who are not necessarily looking forward to the holidays, she also said according to the Amazon message. “I know Christmas can be a tough time for so many people. I want to dedicate this cover to everyone who is feeling lonely at this time and needs some hope to get through this.”
In December, Amazon Music is also planning a Christmas live stream event on TikTok, where Wees will also sing her cover song. In previous years, Vanessa Mai (“Christmas Time”) and Sarah Connor (“The Christmas Song”) had recorded a Christmas song exclusively for the streaming service.
