A court has ended Amanda Bynes’ guardianship by her mother, who she has been under for the past nine years.

The guardianship of Amanda Bynes (36) by her mother has officially ended. After nine years, a court in Oxnard, California, granted the 36-year-old her freedom on Tuesday morning, as reported, among other things, by the “Sun”.

The hearing lasted less than ten minutes. Bynes’ parents also supported the motion. Judge Roger Lund found that Bynes, who suffers from bipolar disorder, did everything the court asked for and did so over a long period of time.

“Fantastic job by everyone!”

Guardianship is therefore “no longer necessary,” the judge acknowledged. He then congratulated Bynes: “Congratulations Ms. Bynes and fantastic job by everyone!”

The actress, known from “Hairspray” or “Easy to Have”, was noticed in 2013 by unusual behavior. Among other things, she had started a small fire in a driveway. She was then placed in a psychiatric clinic, and her mother took over guardianship.

Incidentally, Bynes’ efforts had nothing to do with the sensational process surrounding Britney Spears (40) and her guardianship. Your attorney, David A. Esquibias assured “TMZ”that the end of her guardianship had been planned for years.
