18-year-old student from the USA falls and dies

A young American died in the Alps near Königssee. Rescue workers could no longer do anything for him.
A US student is in Bavaria Alps died. The 18-year-old was found on Sunday by a hiker near Lake Königssee Police in Rosenheim announced on Monday. The woman discovered the young man about 50 meters from the path in a steep open area.

Because he didn’t respond and she couldn’t get to him, she alerted the emergency services. They were only able to determine the death of the 18-year-old and had the body rescued with a rescue helicopter. During the course of the day it emerged that the person was a US citizen who was in Germany for several weeks for study purposes.
