The Italian Federica Brignone is the leader in the second run of the women’s combination at the start of the Alpine Ski World Championships in France.

The Italian Federica Brignone is the leader in the second run of the women’s combination at the start of the Alpine Ski World Championships in France.

After the Super-G in Méribel, the Olympic bronze medalist in Beijing is 0.71 seconds ahead of Lara Gut-Behrami from Switzerland and Ragnhild Mowinckel from Norway at the same time. The favored American and defending champion Mikaela Shiffrin is sixth before the slalom, in which the decision will be made from 2.30 p.m. (ZDF and Eurosport).

The only German starter, Emma Aicher from SC Mahlstetten, is in 23rd place after a slow ride.
