The location of the unveiling is only moderately glamorous, meeting room 6 of the Moa Hotel in Berlin’s Moabit district: neon lights, gray ceiling, functional seating. In this barren environment, the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance, or BSW for short, is presenting its campaign for the European elections this Wednesday. “We are still a very young party,” says BSW General Secretary Christian Leye right at the beginning. “Of course we’re also putting our business card on the table.”
