Now Albert of Monaco has had enough. In an emotional interview, he speaks unusually openly about the persistent rumors that his marriage to Princess Charlène only exists on paper.
Monaco – The Grimaldis rarely allow a look behind the scenes. The fact that Prince Albert II (65) has now decided to take this step shows how much the separation rumors of the last few months have affected Charlène of Monaco (45) and him. In the private garden of the palace, where the twins Jacques and Gabriella (both 8) usually splash around in the pool, Albert told the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera an exclusive interview.

The French magazine recently reported Voici, Charlène and Albert would only meet by appointment; the two were just a “ceremonial couple”. Charlène of Monaco would now mostly live in Switzerland, while Albert resides alone in the palace. But Prince Albert II doesn’t want to know anything about such agreements. “I don’t understand all these rumors that she lives somewhere else, in Switzerland, arranged meetings to see us. “It’s all untrue.”explains Albert Corriere della Sera.
Most recently, Albert and Charlène from Monaco delighted their fans with numerous appearances together. “These rumors hurt me,” admits the head of the rock state. “Charlène is always by my side“Yesterday we welcomed the new French ambassador to Monaco together at the palace… were together on the casino course for the Princess of Monaco Cup charity golf competition,” Albert lists.
