Pokémon GO Fest 2023 starts in August. On the last weekend of the month, players can expect a lot of content – all information at a glance.

San Francisco – Pokémon GO Fest is held every summer. This event has a lot of exciting content to discover in a short amount of time – from rare Pokémon and Shinys to special bonuses that only appear during Pokémon GO Fest. Players can take part with or without a paid ticket.

Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global – All important information at a glance

When is Pokémon GO Fest 2023 global? In some cities, trainers took part in the on-site events. This year it was London, Osaka and New York. At the so-called “Pokémon GO Fest: Global” all players worldwide will be able to participate. The exact dates are as follows:

  • Begin: Saturday, August 26, 2023 – 10:00 (local time)
  • End: Sunday, August 27, 2023 – 8:00 p.m. (local time)

What Pokémon are completely new to Pokémon GO? Niantic announced two debuts as part of the event: Diancie and Mega Evolution, Mega Diancie will appear in the game for the first time. However, you need a ticket for the Pokémon GO Fest 2023 in order to be able to complete the special research. In addition, Mega Rayquaza will debut in Raid Battles as well. For this you need a meteorite, which you receive as an item via special research.

What bonuses do players get during the event? During Pokémon GO Fest benefit from several bonuses:

  • Lure Modules last for one hour during the event
  • Double bonus damage in raid battles with friends
  • Field research around the various Pokémon habitats
  • Increased remote raid limit to 20 per day
  • Snapshots taken during the event bring surprises

The four habitats will rotate every hour on Saturday, August 26, so new Pokémon appear regularly. There is no rotation on Sunday, so any Pokémon listed can appear at any time.
