It’s a summer classic: the works, which will disrupt some 1,300 km of roads and highways in Île-de-France while traffic was still very dense last weekend. In particular, ten roadways will be renovated, which will lead to the closure of several roads, according to the Direction des routes d’Île-de-France (DiRIF):
- N449 at Ris-Orangis from July 19 to 30 (night)
- A6 at Chilly-Mazarin and Wissous from August 16 to 20 (day and night)
- RN4 in Vaudoy-en-Brie and Voinsles from July 5 to 20 (day and night) then 5 days between July 19 and 31 (from 10:30 a.m. to 3 a.m.)
- RN4 in Châtres, 5 days between July 19 and August 1 (day and night)
- RN36 in Crisenoy and Yèbles from August 9 to 20 (day and night)
- A86 at Créteil and Valenton from August 2 to 15
- RN330 at Saint-Soupplets in August (day and night)
- RN12 at Plaisir and Pontchartrain from June 21 to July 7 (night)
- RN10 at Coignères, Maurepas and La Verrière, from June 28 to July 9 (night)
- RN184 at Frépillon, Mériel, Méry-sur-Oise and Villiers-Adam, from August 2 to 27 (day and night).
Extension of line T1
From August 12, the A3 motorway between the ring road (Porte de Bagnolet) and Rosny-sous-Bois will be closed in both directions of traffic for five consecutive days and nights, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Purpose of the operation: extend line T1 between Bobigny and Val-de-Fontenay and create a landscaped avenue connecting Romainville
in Montreuil.
To improve traffic around Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport, the RN1104 – at the commune of Mesnil-Amelot – will be closed to traffic, day and night, until October 26.
The A86 closed at night for several days in July and August
Further south, users of the RN 118 who live towards Meudon and Vélizy – Villacoublay will not be able to travel at night from August 11 to September 3, in the direction of Paris – Vélizy – Villacoublay. In the other direction, the road is cut (always at night) from August 9 to 11.
The inhabitants of Bièvres will also be bothered, with a deviation from the N118 until July 23, but it is for a good cause: noise screens will be installed. In Trappes, the RN10 will be closed, day and night, in both directions, from August 16 to 18. Finally, the modernization of the Fresnes and Antony tunnels will result in the closure of the A86 on the nights of July 26 to 30, August 2 to 6, August 9 to 13 and August 16 to 26.
