Admittedly, the setting of Alfred Dorfer’s new solo program “Equal”, which premiered in the Lustspielhaus after previews in the surrounding area, does not sound like material for Millennials or even Generation Z. He is over 60, he writes and plays no longer, he lies on stage that he is “finished” with therapy. But he is immediately tempted by an alert PR man who wants to book him for appearances in a dystopian “old people’s town”. What the fuse lays for an explosive, colorful and very funny panopticon of current conditions in which age discrimination no longer applies.
