Alexander Zverev was named “Sportsman of the Year” on Sunday evening. He made a glamorous appearance with Sophia Thomalla.
Alexander Zverev (24) and Sophia Thomalla (32) drew everyone’s attention at the “Sportsman of the Year” gala in the Kurhaus Baden-Baden. The tennis professional and the model appeared on Sunday evening (December 19) in a glamorous look on the red carpet.
Zverev, who was honored as “Sportsman of the Year” at the awards ceremony, opted for a classic tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie. His hair was styled in a sleek look. Sophia Thomalla opted for a tight-fitting, high-necked robe in black with long sleeves. The high slit in the legs was an exciting detail of her dress. She completed the look with large, gold hoop earrings and a matching bracelet. Thomalla put her slightly wavy hair in a high ponytail, and she also put on an intense eye make-up with dark eyeliner.
Sophia Thomalla: “My James Bond for an evening”
Thomalla herself was enthusiastic about the look of her partner. “Found my James Bond for an evening,” she wrote to a common picture from the gala performance. In addition to the Olympic champion, Malaika Mihambo (27, long jump) was named “Sportswoman of the Year” and the women’s four-wheel track bike was named “Team of the Year” at the award ceremony broadcast by ZDF excellent.
