Second behind Vincent Kriechmayr was Swiss Marco Odermatt (+0.34 seconds). Beat Feuz was 0.54 seconds behind the day’s winner.
In the end, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde and Feuz were separated by only 13 points.
With his second place, Odermatt finally made his first triumph in the overall World Cup perfect. The 24-year-old is now an uncatchable 359 points ahead of Kilde with three races to go. After Carlo Janka (2010), the shooting star is the first ski racer from Switzerland to win the overall World Cup.
