After the end of the “Rust” shooting, Alec Baldwin (65) already has his sights set on the next film project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Baldwin joins the cast of the drama ‘Kent State’. In the planned film about the infamous Kent State massacre, the star will play the president of the university with Robert I. White where four unarmed protesters were shot dead by National Guardsmen in 1970.

During a demonstration against the Vietnam War, the Ohio State National Guard opened fire on a crowd of unarmed protesters. Four students died.
