A few days after his first detailed interview on the “Rust” tragedy, Alec Baldwin deleted his official Twitter account.
Alec Baldwin (63) has deleted his official Twitter account. A few days after his first detailed interview about the tragedy on the set of his western “Rust”, the actor – previously one of Hollywood’s most zealous and politically committed Twitterers – withdraws from the social platform. On October 21, 2021, while filming, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally hit by a bullet that Baldwin accidentally fired from a mistakenly loaded pistol. She was 42 years old.
Again “Hollywood Reporter” reports, Alec Baldwin’s official account @alecbaldwin has not been on Twitter since Sunday evening. The actor had made his first statement about the fatal set accident via this account. Baldwin’s second verified account can still be reached, but nothing has been published there since the accident. The last tweet is from October 20th.
The account of the charity Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation also no longer exists on Twitter. Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria (37) campaign for animal rights with the Foundation.
