The princely family shows their Christmas photo
Princess Charlène as well as Prince Albert II and the two children of the Monegasque royal couple – Jacques and Gabriella – send Christmas greetings with a new photo.

Monaco’s royal family sends Christmas greetings: Albert, Charlène and the twins show their festive family photo.
The European royal families are in the Christmas spirit: After the British, among others, have already shown their Christmas cards on social media this year, the Monegasque royal family is now following suit. On the Instagram channel to admire the new official Christmas photo of Prince Albert II (65) and his wife, Princess Charlène of Monaco (45). The family portrait not only shows the royal couple, but also their two children Jacques and Gabriella (9).
The entire family is dressed in festive chic: Charlène sits on a small bench with the twins in a shimmering gold velvet dress. Like father Albert, son Jacques wears a suit with a velvet bow tie, daughter Gabriella, like her mother, wears a velvet dress in violet. In the background you can see glamorous, shiny Christmas decorations in royal gold.
The twins just recently had their birthday
The twins recently celebrated their birthday: on December 9th, the two princely children turned nine years old. The palace published on this occasion also a photo of the two via social mediain which they smile arm in arm at the camera: “Happy birthday to Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.”
In an interview with “Monaco-Matin” in September, her mother revealed more about her children’s personalities: “Gabriella is quite spontaneous, she has a certain self-confidence. Jacques is very reserved, but very attentive.” The princess further explained: “They complement each other to a certain extent and are gradually winning over those around them. But they are still young and are developing further from day to day.” Regarding her children’s sporting preferences, Charlène said that Gabriella was passionate about hip-hop dance and Jacques practiced taekwondo. “It’s about giving them a good education, self-confidence and a happy childhood.”
Charlène and Prince Albert II married on July 1, 2011, and the church wedding followed the day after. The twins Gabriella and Jacques were born in December 2014.
