The foreign street dog escaped on January 2 when it was handed over to its owner and has been wandering around the airport since then. On Wednesday he was caught with a live trap, a little emaciated, but doing well.

“Samy”, a foreign street dog who escaped from his new owner at Munich Airport on January 2, is back. After he was last seen in the Schwaig area in the Erding district, he was caught around 1 a.m. on Wednesday with the help of a live trap placed there, according to the police inspection at Munich Airport. The approximately six-month-old dog was only slightly emaciated and handed over to a Munich animal protection association “in good condition”. To be on the safe side, he should still be examined in a veterinary clinic and then handed over to the dog owner again. “Samy” had kept the airport police on their toes until then. He was seen from time to time, but could not be caught until Wednesday night.
