After two days of shutdown, the two metro lines have resumed service

After two days of shutdown, the two lines of the Toulouse metro resumed service this Friday morning announced Tisseo. On Wednesday, shortly before 9 a.m., an electric arc that occurred after a train had passed near the Patte d’Oie station was the cause of the total safety of the system and the damage to cables, putting the forced shutdown of the two metro lines.

Line A partial recovery

As of Thursday evening, activity had partially resumed on line A between the Basso Cambo and Jolimont stations. The Roseraie, Argoulets and Balma-Gramont stations were still not served when service started on Friday morning, but could reopen by the end of the day. In the meantime, a relay bus provides service to the stations.

During the night, the Tisséo teams were able to repair the damaged cables. Line B, still closed Thursday evening, has therefore been operating normally and in full since 5:30 a.m. this morning.
