The trial of a teacher who possessed photos of abuse and secretly filmed two of his colleagues in the toilet is moving on to the next instance. The 60-year-old filed an appeal, as the Aschaffenburg district court did at the request of the German press agency announced. The man was sentenced to 13 months in prison last week. The sentence was suspended and the probation period was set at three years. He also had to undergo sexual therapy. The teacher admitted the allegations in the hearing through his lawyer.
The prosecution assumed that the man had hidden a video camera in a staff toilet at his school from December 2018 to January 2020. Two women were filmed while using the toilet. The officer also stored a small number of child pornography images, including photos of a student changing after gym class and appearing topless. There were no images of sexual violence in the recordings. The 60-year-old from the Aschaffenburg district came into the focus of investigators at the Bavarian Cybercrime Central Office following a tip from a US online service.
