After the takeover – Favre becomes the new Hella boss – Economy

The new boss of the Westphalian car supplier Hella comes from the majority owner Faurecia. CFO Michel Favre () will become CEO of Hella on July 1, the company announced. The 63-year-old succeeds Rolf Breidenbach, who announced his retirement mid-year after the French takeover. Michel Favre joined Faurecia from Valeo in 2013 as CFO. The group from Faurecia and Hella is to appear under the name Forvia in the future. In the meantime, another top manager is leaving Lippstadt: Frank Huber, who was previously responsible for the lighting business – i.e. Hella’s core business – in the management board, will leave the company “by mutual agreement”. His successor also comes from Faurecia: Yves Andres, previously responsible for “Clean Mobility”, is to switch to Hella in mid-April and take over Huber’s post after an induction period. The 41-year-old Swiss Andres, who started his career at the automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen, has been working for Faurecia since 2007.
