Jan Köppen has survived his debut as a jungle camp moderator. His first conclusion is positive: “I was well received.”
After his first appearance as the new presenter on “I’m a star – get me out of here!” Last Friday evening (January 13), Jan Köppen (39) already drew a positive balance: “Day one is done – although ‘done’ is the wrong word because […] ‘done’ sounds so much like work and I’m very inspired and grateful that I can do it,” Köppen is happy in an Instagram story.
The RTL jungle camp is already “incredibly fun” for him and he is looking forward to the coming weeks. He was “greatly and beautifully received” by the entire team. His colleague, “the wonderful” Sonja Zietlow (54), “took him by the hand” and Köppen felt “very comfortable there by her side”. Finally, he thanks all the fans and spectators who “wished him good luck”.
Jan Koeppen replaces Daniel Hartwich
Jan Köppen is present as a moderator for the first time in the 16th season of the RTL jungle camp. He succeeds Daniel Hartwich (44), who announced his farewell to the show in 2022 for family reasons. The second episode of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” runs this Saturday evening from 10:15 p.m. on RTL and RTL+.
