A man was indicted for intentional homicide, after the death of a 2-year-old child, hit by a car, on September 16 in Grau-du-Roi (Gard), said the Nîmes prosecutor’s office at 20 minutesconfirming the information published by France 3 Occitania.
The suspect, who was driving the vehicle, is the boy’s stepfather. The latter was hit, for reasons that have yet to be determined. The prosecution specifies that investigations are still in progress, to try to clarify the circumstances of the death.
The 30-year-old has also been indicted for domestic violence.
