Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to officially announce the annexation of several Ukrainian territories this Friday. A ceremony is to take place in the Kremlin Palace.

After the bogus referendums, which violate international law, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin wants to make the annexation of several Ukrainian territories official this Friday.

“A ceremony to sign agreements on the accession of new territories to the Russian Federation will be held at 3:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. CEST) in the Grand Kremlin Palace,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday, according to the Interfax agency. The step is not recognized internationally.
