The Oktoberfest is almost over, and this strange split in perception is already emerging again, which is only inadequately described by the term “perceived truth”: In the circle of friends and colleagues (“editorial Wiesn”!), cases and failures are piling up “because of Corona” – but the incidences, infection rates and other official numbers hardly move.
