The Italian luxury group has decided to suspend its retail sales in Russia, after the invasion of Ukraine by troops from Moscow, according to a statement sent to AFP on Sunday. ” From now on [samedi]the Prada group is suspending retail sales activities in Russia, ”he said in this press release published on Saturday on its LinkedIn site.
“Our main concern is for our colleagues and their families affected by the tragedy in Ukraine and to whom we will continue to guarantee our support,” adds Prada in its brief statement, specifying that the group “will continue to follow the developments” of the conflict.
Prada is thus following in the footsteps of other big names in luxury and fashion, such as the French groups Hermès, Chanel, LVMH or Kering, which have already suspended their sales in Russia.
