Daniel Craig to star alongside Ruth Negga in new adaptation of Macbeth on Broadway, produced by Barbara Broccoli, already at the helm of the 007 saga, according to The Guardian
“Daniel is not only a great film actor, but also a magnificent theater actor,” she said in a statement. “I am delighted that he is supporting Broadway’s return to this iconic role with the talented Ruth Negga making her Broadway debut and under the expert direction of Sam Gold.” The version of Macbeth worn by Daniel Craig will be on view for fifteen weeks, starting March 29, 2022.
