National player Karim Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg dedicated his Champions League opening goal in the 3-1 win against VfL Wolfsburg to his friend Elias Nerlich, a well-known streamer from the FIFA scene under his alias ‘EliasN97’.
Nerlich was at the Salzburg stadium on Wednesday evening at Adeyemi’s invitation. on Instagram he published the chat history between the two, in which Adeyemi promised him the “97” for a goal based on Nerlich’s account name on all social media channels.

It is not Nerlich’s first point of contact with well-known professional footballers. For example, he has often exchanged ideas with Brazil star Richarlison and last even Bayern star Alphonso Davies took part in one of his organized FIFA tournaments.
