From his stage name Captain Rémi, the adventurer left on September 13 from the Parc des Princes to arrive this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Beaujoire in Nantes.
On his shoulders, a shirt hijacking the initials of PSG: “Possible Without Gasoil”. “It’s a joke to do it in a sand yacht, it’s to show that it’s possible to do things differently”, explained Captain Rémi at the end of a 480 km trip during which he skirted the Seine, then the Loire. “Me honestly, I’ve never done sand yachting in my life! I embarked on this challenge saying to myself: we are going to show that things are possible, that we must activate now for change, ”he added.

A dozen cyclists accompanied Captain Rémi, and the group photographed themselves in front of the stadium where spectators present for the Nantes – Lens match welcomed them with enthusiasm. “If they are able to take a private jet, they just have to do the same route. That would be good. Christophe Galtier, we are waiting for him at La Beaujoire with pleasure”, reacted Pascal, a supporter dressed in yellow and green.
Captain Rémi explained that he used his sail for about 10% of the trip. He pedaled the rest of the time, when the wind was not enough. “There is no direct message to Mbappé, it is more to people who have influence and who have power: Be aware of climate change, it is playing out now, and we must ‘we all act on our own scale,” concluded Captain Rémi.
