After bankruptcy: future for the magazine “Emotion” – Media

The magazine was seen in the German media industry as a model for showing that passion leads to success: when the lawyer and previous publishing director Katarzyna Mol-Wolf launched the women’s magazine in 2009 emotion acquired from Gruner + Jahr in a management buyout, for which the Hamburg-based company no longer saw a future. Mol-Wolf found investors and gradually expanded the brand – with a focus on psychology, business and events such as the annual “Emotion Award”, which is intended to recognize “great women” so that they encourage other women “to pursue their ideas and visions” – that’s what Mol-Wolf wrote on the occasion of the current award ceremony on November 8th in Hamburg.
