Of course, he’s not the first Liverpool FC Uruguayan forward to make headlines for the wrong reasons: Luis Suarez did the same on several occasions while playing in England.
Nunez has now revealed his national team-mate gave him some advice after the Crystal Palace game.
“That was a good thing because not many would bother to pick up the phone and text you – I think his gesture was really important to me,” Nunez told ESPN. “Luis is a point of reference, an idol all over the world.
