After a fight in the criminal justice center: suspects released again – Munich

After a fight in the criminal justice center between two feuding families, the Munich police have arrested several suspects. Dozens of judicial officers had to intervene on Tuesday when around ten people attacked each other in the hallway of the district court on Nymphenburger Strasse.

The starting point of the fight was a trial for grievous bodily harm against three men; the main perpetrator was sentenced to a suspended sentence of one year and three months. After the verdict, an argument escalated and the victim’s family is said to have thrown the convicted perpetrator to the ground, kicked him, hit him and injured his head.

As the police announced on Wednesday, three men aged 24, 48 and 49 were arrested after the fight. However, the public prosecutor saw no reasons for pre-trial detention, which is why the accused were released after the investigators had processed the case.
