A 60-year-old from Lower Bavaria lay in the basement for days after a fainting spell. According to the police, he had been in a side apartment in Grafenau (Freyung-Grafenau district) while his wife was in Munich. When she could not reach him for two days, she alerted the police on Friday afternoon. The fire brigade opened the apartment and finally found him in the basement of the house. He stated that he could not get up and lay there for two days. As a police spokesman said, the man had suffered a dizzy spell. He was taken to a hospital.
