The AfD youth organization in Thuringia is now considered to be definitely right-wing extremist. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has had the Young Alternative in its sights for years.
The Young Alternative (JA) Thuringia is from The state’s Office for the Protection of the Constitution has classified the group as definitely right-wing extremist. The state’s Ministry of the Interior in Erfurt announced this on Thursday, citing a decision by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
JA Thuringia is the youth organization of the Thuringian AfD, whose regional association has been classified as proven right-wing extremist by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution since 2021.
