The investigation file against the Bavarian AfD MP Daniel Halemba is even more extensive than previously known. The Würzburg public prosecutor’s office is not only targeting the 22-year-old parliamentarian for alleged incitement to hatred and the use of unconstitutional license plates, but is also investigating suspected money laundering, communal coercion and damage to property. The public prosecutor’s office has this South German newspaper confirmed on Friday. As MP Toni Schuberl (Greens) previously announced, the State Parliament’s Constitutional Committee has once again voted to lift the immunity of a MP, precisely because of these allegations. Schuberl did not mention a name in his message, but according to SZ information it is Halemba.
