The three factions of the traffic light coalition and the Union want to reorganize the financing of party-affiliated foundations. Representatives of the four factions said when presenting a corresponding draft law on Wednesday that it was about “abstract” new rules. But it was clear that this was primarily intended to prevent the AfD-affiliated foundation from also benefiting from state subsidies.
