The 54-year-old told US magazine “Variety” about a sex scene she filmed for the series “The Morning Show”. Many people on set wanted to help her.
US actress Jennifer Aniston says she is in favor of one sex scene with Jon Hamm for the series “The Morning Show” without an intimacy coordinator.
“I come from the old days, so I asked, ‘What does that mean?'” the 54-year-old told US magazine Variety. “They said, ‘Someone’s asking you if you’re okay,’ and I said, ‘Please, that’s embarrassing enough!’ We’re experienced – we’ll handle it.”
Intimacy coordinators support the director and actors in the implementation of intimate scenes to ensure that they occur in a safe environment. Aniston plays television host Alex Levy in the series “The Morning Show” (Apple TV+).
Aniston now emphasized that she always felt comfortable during filming. “Jon was such a gentleman, always – I mean every movement, every cut, ‘Are you okay?'” She also felt very supported by the director Mimi Leder. Leder told Variety in October that the scene was shot on a small scale and that she wanted to create images that were “emotional, sexy and adult.”
