The former Harry Potter actor talks about the therapeutic benefits of the filmed Hogwarts wizarding student stories. They are especially helpful after a hangover, as he has heard.

According to former main actor Daniel Radcliffe (32), Harry Potter films can have a therapeutic effect after an alcohol intoxication.

Radcliffe told the BBC in a documentary on the 20th anniversary of the release of the first film in the series, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.

Several friends told him that the films “are fantastic when you have a hangover and are really dissatisfied with yourself,” said the British actor, according to the PA news agency. Radcliffe added, “You just look the movies up and down and it transports them to a place of warmth and comfort.” That is great.

The first Harry Potter film celebrated its world premiere in London in November 2001. Seven other films, all starring Radcliffe, followed. The successful series was later supplemented by “Fantastic Beasts” – also in the Potter cosmos.
