This mature woman makes Vin Diesel’s dreams come true

Action star Vin Diesel is currently in front of the camera for the sequel to the tenth episode of “Fast & Furious”. During the shooting, a very specific actress makes his “soul laugh”.
At the age of 90, the Oscar winner Rita Moreno joins the cast of the action strip “Fast X”. This fulfills a long-cherished dream for him, said leading actor Vin Diesel (54) in a video on Instagram.
“The fact that she plays my grandmother makes my soul laugh,” says the action star. Also in the video are Michelle Rodriguez and Moreno.
Her old age was waiting to be invited by Diesel, Moreno joked. “I’m really happy. It’s going to be so much fun,” said the Latina star. The Puerto Rican actress most recently starred in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story”. Her role in the 1962 film version earned her an Oscar at the time – the first for a Hispanic actress.
Filming for the tenth episode of “Fast & Furious” has recently started. At the end of April, Justin Lin (50) surprisingly jumped off as director, successor is the French action specialist Louis Leterrier.
The action sequel about fast cars and illegal street racing also stars Diesel, Moreno and Rodriguez, as well as Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Momoa and Charlize Theron.
