Acquittal for Andreas R.: “We don’t see the disgust in the video”

The trial for sexual assault against police inspector Andreas R. in Stuttgart ended with an acquittal. The court did not have enough evidence to convict.

The 5th Criminal Chamber of the Stuttgart Regional Court today acquitted police inspector Andreas R. of the allegation of sexual assault. The evidence was not sufficient, the presiding judge made it clear that the inspector had left the court with doubts. The audience in the hall reacted with bitter laughter and displeasure. One listener, however, felt the relief: Andreas R.’s wife: Now her husband was finally right, said Gabriele R. Because “this woman was not a victim.”

What happened at the end of that night, between one and four o’clock, when the police inspector and the inspector took a nightcap at The Corner and they walked out the door for a few minutes?
